For Rob Feenie, opening his more casual bistro, Feenie's, was a dream come true.
 While Rob's first restaurant, Lumiere, tests the rules of dining and pushes cuisine to new heights, Feenie's speaks of the comforts of Canadian food.
Rob's intention at Feenie's is to share with his guests some of his favorite dishes that have been translated into a language that speaks of Canada.
It is here that you will find rich onion soups from Paris, heavily laden charcuterie boards from Roman cafes, and hot dogs from street vendors in Sweden, all brought back home to Canada and re-created with the finest local products.
In August of 2004 Rob received a call to be the first Canadian chef to do battle on Iron Chef America.
The competition was the most difficult test for Rob to date and to win was not only a success for Rob personally, but a testament to the outstanding quality of Canadian cuisine.
